What’s in your gear bag?: Nothing…
2008/2009 recap and best memory?: It was a good season with the exception of my concussion. That set me back a little bit. Once I got my feet back under me it went well and I got 6th at the winter park open.
2009/2010 outlook and goals?: I’m really excited. I’ve been working out trying to stay in shape this off-season. Hopefully I’ll do well in Dew Tour and get some good filming this season.
What is your ski style – how would you describe yourself?: I don’t know. I’m not the most gangster kid in the world but I keep it real.
Your ideal day on the mountain is…: Sunny, no wind, 35-40 degrees with no slush. Just epic.
Do you have a competition day superstition or ritual you stick with?: Before I drop in I have to have the right song on and I can’t drop in without my face covered. I don’t know why.
Where do you find clarity and inspiration?: Sunny Days.
What’s your favorite trick, and one you want to work on?: Switch seven nose grab. doubles
What was the moment of the biggest breakthrough in your skiing progression?: I hope it hasn’t happened yet and I hope to have a big breakthrough every season.
Before you got all your gear and lift tickets for free, how were you able to fund your skiing?: I worked at the hill so I got a free pass.
How did you get your first sponsor?: I won every contest in MI one season and got a pretty big ski sponsor.
What do you want your legacy in the ski industry to be?: That I kept it classy and that I was the guy that kept everyone stoked on skiing.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Was skiing always the plan?: I wanted to be a pro soccer player but then skiing became first priority.
Where are you in 10 years?: Hopefully living comfortably.

How important is music for you in a skiing video?: It’s the ying to the yang. It has to be there.
What’s your favorite music track for a video part, if you could choose any?: Akon and Bone thugs, never forget me
What’s your favorite Ski Movie ever and why?: 1242 and any early pbp movies. They are the reason I’m doing what I’m doing.

With what Star Wars character do you most closely identify?: I want to say Han Solo but everyone else would say Lando.
