2008/2009 recap and best memory?: Skied a lot of powder, best memories are days at the Stone Creek Chutes at Beaver Creek 

2009/2010 outlook and goals?: Well, I bought a sled, so that should make things pretty sweet! 

What is your ski style – how would you describe yourself?: Backflips, twisters, givin her! 

Your ideal day on the mountain is…: 18 inches of fresh at Beaver Creek, or 25 degrees and bluebird at Keystone. 

Do you have a competition day superstition or ritual you stick with?: Don’t grow your hair long…you’ll get hurt! 

Where do you find clarity and inspiration?: Blessin one, bringing home the cup. 

What’s your favorite trick, and one you want to work on?: Sw 5s and 7s are probably my favorite…  I’d really like to get a double cork goin. 

What was the moment of the biggest breakthrough in your skiing progression?: Learning how to actually ski out here… instead of being a total park rat from the Midwest…  get out and get epic outside the park! 

Before you got all your gear and lift tickets for free, how were you able to fund your skiing?: I wish all my gear and lift tickets were free…  Ski Bum Paint & Stain, the best painters in the county! 

How did you get your first sponsor? Sponsor me video back in Michigan. 

What do you want your legacy in the ski industry to be?: That guy who’s pretty good and has way more fun than he should be. 

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Was skiing always the plan?: I’ve been planning on moving to Colorado since I was 13 or 14, and finally did it after college.  Livin’ the dream1 

Where are you in 10 years?: Retired, being sweet.   
 

How important is music for you in a skiing video?: Music and editing can totally blow me away, if you can edit with a good music choice, it can totally strengthen the style of skiing being shown.

What’s your favorite Ski Movie ever and why?: Teddy Bear Crisis and U.P.1.2, both were a revolution in the industry. 

Favorite video part ever and why?: Hmmm… All of Tanners stuff in Believe.

Your ride?: Xterra, super extreme style 

Pets?: Izzy, the styliest cat around. 

Tell us about a day in the life: Get up, slam 4 cups of coffee, pop in a ski movie while getting ready, head to Keystone and shred park all day.  Come home, drink beer.  Repeat. 

What’s in your fridge?: Milk, fruit, pizza rolls, microwave burritos. 

Any overseas horror stories?: I just went to my first strip club in Alaska, the Great Alaskan Bush Company.   

What’s on your DVR?: Huh… you mean xbox?  Call of Duty. 

With what Star Wars character do you most closely identify?: Chewbacca. 

Something you are terrible at: Money management. 

Who’s your celebrity crush?: Yes, Kate Hudson, I’ll marry you.
